The Christmas carol, “What Child is This,” was Ms. Stavropoulos’s hymn as she made her solo debut with Kyrenia Opera for their Christmas with Kyrenia Opera concert. Other repertoire throughout the night included, “Panis Angelicus,” sung as a duet, and everyone’s beloved Christmas carols and Greek Kallanda.

The Art of Being a Hellene highlighted a mix of operatic and Greek popular pieces, all of which reflected the essence of Greek heroism in the past and in today’s society. Ms. Stavropoulos reveled in the amusement of Greece’s music as a chorister for works by Konstantinos Argiros, Dimitri Mitropanos, and more.

Ms. Stavropoulos performed as a chorister alongside the legendary George Dalaras with Kyrenia Opera for the New York City Annual Independence Day Gala. The song set spoke ardently to the heart of Greek patriotism through compositions by Mikis Theodorakis.
